1984 manta track sliders

Hi, My names Mike. I’m from Amesbury,Ma. Can anyone tell me what was used for track sliders on the 84 Manta. I’m restoring one and I am almost done. Also what are you using to line the fiberglass gas tank to keep the ethanol from eating them up. Thanks Mike

hi

do not use ethanol gas in mantas, or any vintage snowmobile . only use premium non ethanol it is hard on the motors and fiberglass.

if you have the slides, take them to your sled dealership and they can match them up since originals are extinct.

Thanks for the reply twotracks. The slides are 1984 john deere slides in case anyone else needs some. All we have here for gas has ethanol so I used Caswells gas tank liner. I ‘m trying to pull out the fuel pickup. Do you know if it just pushes into the grommet. I don’t want to ruin it but I can probably get a replacement. Thanks Mike
